The Invisible Her

The Invisible Her takes the reader down the alleyways of old Tehran. From the very first page, one is transformed to different time, through the fragrant aroma of the spices and colors of the bazaars; and can nearly taste the warm, soft stone bread freshly baked, filling the tiny passageways. 

At eleven years old, Goli dreams of playing freely with her brothers, not being confined to the expectations of how proper girls should behave. Jasmine also eleven, lives with the shame and embarrassment of her father, whose erratic and angry actions sends her and sisters hiding for a safe place.

Fate brings these two girls to one another, as demands of marriage and children is thrown at them. Will they be able to triumph over their challenges and build bridges or will their destinies collide and destroy them both?
